Youtube’s Boyce Avenue rocks Toronto

Youtube band, Boyce Avenue took one more step off of the web and into a crowd of screaming fans at the Sound Academy in Toronto on Mar. 24. 2011. Take a look at some pictures and audio from the show in the video above.

With over 500,000 subscribers to their Youtube channel and over 265 million video views, the band is playing for fans from all over the world like the Philippines, Germany, the United Kingdom and much more.

The three brothers, Alejandro, Fabian and Daniel Mazano, first came together in 2004 after pursuing their respective education goals. They posted their first Youtube video in 2007 and are known for their covers of such well-loved songs as Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” and Bruno Mars’ “Grenade.”

But their original music is just as entertaining. The band’s raw musical talent and songwriting abilities translate seamlessly on to the stage. The show featured fellow Youtube hopefuls Juliet Weybret and Alex Goot. All of whom mirror a similar down-to-earth familiarity that must be due to their humble online beginnings.
